Well, it’s finally happened. For the first time since 2002, Brazilian stunner Gisele Bündchen is not the world’s highest-earning model. Ladies and gentlemen, please be upstanding to welcome your new queen: Kendall Jenner.
According to Forbes‘ annual roundup of rich beautiful people, Jenner raked in USD$22 million in the last 12 months, easily beating out Bündchen’s USD$17.5 million pay packet.
The publication puts Jenner’s stellar year down to her yuge Instagram following (84.8 million and counting), as well as lucrative deals with Adidas, lingerie brand La Perla and cosmetics giant Estee Lauder.

The 22-year-old also makes bank from her family’s TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians as well as a clothing line with sister Kylie Jenner.
We like to imagine that the fam’s overlord / matriarch / business genius Kris Jenner is extremely pleased with herself right about now.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the top 10: our favourite person Chrissy Teigen finished third – her first time ever on the list – with a tidy USD$13.5 million and genetically-blessed siblings Gigi and Bella Hadid came in at fifth (USD$9.5 million) and ninth (USD$6 million) respectively.
The entire list, which also includes Karlie Kloss, body-positivity advocate Ashley Graham and new mum Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, can be found HERE.
Basically, being beautiful is big bloody business. The top 10 earned a collective USD$109.5 million between June 1 2016 – June 1 2017.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
