Miranda Kerr can thank lucrative contracts with Victoria’s Secret and David Jones and the launch of her own organic skincare line, Kora, for her spot among the top ten earning models of 2009. But Kerr’s impressive annual haul of $3.5 million accounts for only one tenth of list topper and fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Gisele Bundchen’s yearly take.
Thanks to campaign work for Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren and London Fog, her own line of flip flops and a handful of acting roles Gisele makes mad bank. In fact the Brazilian beauty’s estimated wealth lies somewhere in the vicinity of $150 million. Not that she’s all about the Benjamins as a source close to the model recently told People Magazine:
“With the exception of her few contracts, she’s definitely taking a break [into] the New Year. It wouldn’t surprise me if she gives up most of the business. Why not? She has tons of money and a rich, gorgeous husband she adores and she wants a large family and more children, so why not?”
Yes some people are just lucky like that.
