Forbes Says Supermodels Are Now Even Richer

Wealth bible Forbes Magazine has released their annual Top Earning Models List, and while the names haven’t changed all that much, what’s definitely on the move up are their bank balances.

Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, and Kate Moss took out the three spots, but thanks to out-of-the-office activities like TV programmes (Project Runway is executive-produced by Klum), product lines (Bündchen is a Pantene Shampoo star in Latin America), their net worth is growing. Bündchen alone made $20 million dollars more than last year, and combined, these top ten have increased their wealth by 30%. But Forbes is quick to note that new runway stars are less likely to see the kind of money their peers did before the recession.

Here’s the list and what the women are worth. Victoria’s Secret, whose models both past and present dominate the line-up, must be pretty proud of themselves right about now.

1. Gisele Bündchen, $45 million
2. Heidi Klum, $20 million
3. Kate Moss, $13.5 million
4. Adriana Lima, $8 million
5. Alessandra Ambrosio, $5 million
6. Daria Werbowy, $4.5 million
7. Lara Stone, $4.5 million
8. Carolyn Murphy, $4.3 million
9. Natalia Vodianova, $4 million
10. Candice Swanepoel, $3 million
