In case you haven’t clocked on to the biggest fucking celebrity scandal of our lifetime: a series of DMs have gone viral that show Call Me By Your Name actor Armie Hammer allegedly speaking to several women in a way that is domineering and violent. At some points, the DMs speak of drinking blood, describe scenes of sexual control, and references cannibalism.
The screenshots are incredibly graphic and allegedly show Armie telling women that he wants to commit acts of violence against them, from severing a toe to cutting out a heart.
In one DM, Armie allegedly describes himself as “100% a cannibal” and tells a woman “I want to eat you.”

A woman who claims to have had an affair with Armie Hammer has been sharing screenshots on the Instagram account @houseofeffie (which has since switched to private).
After the screenshots went viral, a bunch of old tweets and Instagram posts from Hammer have resurfaced and, erm, to say they haven’t aged well is the mother of all understatements.
In one tweet from July 2018, Armie brags about impressing the waiter at a steakhouse with his steak-carving skills.
“Just went to a steak house with my buddy Luca and ordered a bone in steak. Waiter asked if I would like him to cut it front the bone,” he proudly tweeted. “Immediately took it from him and deboned it quickly. He asked me if I worked in a kitchen and I’ve never been more proud in my life.”

There’s also this one where Armie Hammer wrote, “Throwback to this afternoon with @waltercmay and big ass needles.”
And then there’s a tweet from 2016 where he reacts to the slew of women who came forth with sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump.

Earlier this morning pulled out of upcoming film, Shotgun Wedding, alongside Jennifer Lopez and made his first statement about the controversy.
In a statement released to Variety, Hammer said he will not address the “vicious and spurious claims”, but simply needed to spend more time with his family in light of them.
“I’m not responding to these bullshit claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic,” he said.
“Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that.”
