The alleged Armie Hammer screenshots won’t stop leaking until the Hollywood actor apologises to his ‘kittens’, the woman responsible for a majority of the leaks has said – and we’re already at the ‘cutting off a toe and keeping it’ stage. Buckle up for the screenshot apocalypse.
The woman behind the @houseofeffie Instagram account has been sharing screenshots of the DMs for several days, which allegedly show Armie Hammer sending sexually explicit (and sometimes disturbing) messages to a number of women he was seeing while still with his estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers.
“Someone wrote about me, ‘Can you imagine how much dirt she must have on him after four years?’” @houseofeffie said on her Instagram Story.
“Yah we gon be here all year.
“Unless @ArmieHammer owns up to all the incomprehensible suffering he’s caused us, apologises, and gets help.”
Essentially, @houseofeffie claims Armie was engaged in a consensual affair with her for four years, while also having other affairs and/or hooking up with countless women around the globe. She says she thought she was the only one until recently, when some of the women began to get in contact with one another and put together the pieces.
And so, screenshots began appearing online.
She’s demanding an apology for what she appears to be saying was a manipulative relationship.
“So we all got told we are perfect. That he wants to run away with us. That it’s our world and fuck everyone else. That he loved us. So he fucked us all in his and [Elizabeth’s] bed and made us a cute omelette after,” she said.
“So we all had apartments ready for him around the world. So he met all our moms and they all loved him. So he told us all to be monogamous to him and wait for his divorce.”
Instead, Armie was allegedly messaging countless women very similar things – and some of those screenshots are disturbing as hell.
“I am 100% a cannibal. I want to eat you,” he appears to say in one.
“I’m going to cum thinking of breaking your bones,” he appears to say in another. “Text me about me breaking your bones while raping you. And I’ll send you the voice note while I cum while reading it.”
In a third, he appears to ask a woman if she would let him “cut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession”.
At this point, we need to stress that Armie Hammer has not released a statement on the screenshots at all. In fact, he hasn’t posted on social media since the screenshots were leaked.
And while the language is violent, we’re also not suggesting the actions were carried out or that the language used was non-consensual. (In a video showing her bruised neck, @houseofeffie said that you cannot do CNC – consensual non-consensual, otherwise known as a rape kink – without aftercare.)
However, some women are alluding to abuse – or at the very least, a manipulative relationship.
Writer Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, who was linked to Armie last year, posted on Twitter:
“If you are still questioning whether or not those Armie Hammer DMs are real (and they are) maybe you should start questioning why we live in a culture willing to give abusers the benefit of the doubt instead of victims.”
She also posted:
“Stop defending men who abuse women ?????”
