WATCH: Seann William Scott Drops Gloves Again In The Trailer For ‘Goon 2’

If you haven’t seen the original ‘Goon‘ yet, you just had your Thursday night’s entertainment sorted out for you. It’s on Netflix. Do yourselves a favour.
The thunderously underrated 2012 flick is funny and violent and easily the best movie about ice hockey since ‘D3: The Mighty Ducks‘ (kiss my butt, ‘Mystery, Alaska‘) and features Seann William Scott‘s best performance in a decade, if not his entire career.
The humble tale of small-time hockey enforcer (aka the guy they send onto the ice just to bash people) Doug Glatt and his arch-rival, legendary ageing enforcer Ross Rhea (played bloody well by Liev Schreiber) is at long last getting itself the sequel it thoroughly deserves, and if the first trailer for the new episode is anything to go by, part two will be just as funny and sweet and bloody and violent as part one was.
Goon: Last of the Enforcers‘ is officially on the way, and sees Scott and Schreiber return to reprise their respective roles, alongside Allison Pill, Jay Baruchel, Marc-André Grondin (who you sort-of recognise because he 100% looks like a store-bought version of Gael Garcia Bernal), and Eugene Levy all of whom are on board for the second film. The sequel also welcomes in Elisha Cuthbert, TJ Miller, Wyatt Russell, and actual NHL superstars Michael Del Zotto and Tyler Seguin.
Jay Baruchel once again wrote the script for the film, this time alongside Jesse Chabot. This time around Baruchel steps into the directors chair to man the sequel himself.
Technical stuff aside, the (probably NSFW unless you have headphones) trailer looks VERY GOOD and VERY FUNNY and VERY VIOLENT and you can sign us all up right sodding now TBQH.

You can score yourself a trip to the penalty box/cinema to catch it from March 17 next year onwards.
