It’s that time of year again, folks! The Bachelor Australia 2021 is nearing its end and we’re down to just three ladies who our main man Jimmy Nicholson must choose from.
Who will it be? Holly Kingston? Brooke Cleal? Or Jay Lal?
I’m ignoring the rampant fan theories and, instead, turning to astrology to find out. Not to see who Jimmy will end up with, but rather who he should end up with, according to astrology. This isn’t a psychic prediction, this is a compatibility reading to see which pairing has the best chance of making it work, and which two are doomed.
The legends at The Bachelor gave us the birthdates of Jimmy and each finalist so I could suss out which one is most compatible with Jimmy.
Die-hard astrology stans will know that this is a very basic kind of reading, as true compatibility requires one’s whole chart, but just the sun signs is a good enough basis to go off and hey, this is just for shits and gigs, fam.
So first up, Jimmy is a Scorpio, a water sign that is known to be intense, passionate, sensual, loyal, jealous, stubborn and mysterious.
Here’s how his sign matches up with the three gals.
Jimmy and Holly Kingston (Aquarius)
So how’s this: Aquarius is one of the two least compatible signs with Scorpio. Great! Love it! Fantastic!
Both signs are known for their intensity, and while intensity is important in relationships, too much intensity can be a dangerous combo.
In fact, Aquarius and Scorpio are known as squaring signs, which means they generally don’t see eye-to-eye on much at all.
With that said, in terms of intimacy, they will have a good ol’ time (if ya know what I mean). But it’s certainly not a sustainable relationship, according to basic astrological compatibility.

Jimmy and Brooke Cleal (Leo)

Ya know how I said Aquarius is one of the two least compatible signs with Scorpio? Well the other least compatible sign is Leo, a.k.a Brooke’s sign. Faaaaark me, it’s like The Bachelor gods are against us.
Much like Aquarius, Leo is another intense, passionate sign that goes with Scorpio like fire and water, just like their elements suggest.
Once again, we have the potential for a great physical relationship, but emotionally, it will be an absolute shit show as both signs have trouble finding a middle ground in their personalities.
Jimmy and Jay (Pisces)

And finally, we’ve got Jay, a Pisces, which is one of the best possible matches for our The Bachelor leading lad.
Much like the other two gals, Jay’s sign is brimming with intensity, but it’s the kind of intensity that Jimmy’s sign can actually relate to.
You see, Scorpio and Pisces are both water signs, which means they’re literally dripping with emotion and so they possess the emotional depth to understand and relate to one another.
Guys, I’m actually shook by this! The last time I analysed relationship compatibility for a Bachie babe was during Angie Kent’s season where I said that although Timm and Carlin’s signs aren’t super compatible with Angie’s, Carlin’s was just that little bit more compatible. And look, that ended up going to hell anyway (as a relationship between Angie and Timm would have as well, clearly).
But in this case, you literally have the two ABSOLUTE WORST pairings with Jimmy, and one of the ABSOLUTE BEST. If I’m honest, I actually don’t think Jay is gonna win it, even though she has the best chance of making a relationship work with Jimmy, according to astrology.
I reckon he’ll roll with either Brooke or Holly, they’ll leave the mansion together, cop a bunch of lucrative endorsement deals on Instagram (teeth whitening, Hello Fresh, the works), but behind-the-scenes, their relationship will be an absolute shit fight and they’ll be dropping a lengthy breakup post on Instagram in no more than six months time. Mark my words.
