Kim Kardashian has deployed an effective piece of crisis PR to deflect from her husband’s latest comments on Donald Trump finally revealed the bottle for her new perfume KKW Body.
It’d usually be a fairly humdrum affair, but this one’s a little different: the bottle is literally based on her own body.
After a full body-casting session – which sent some of her more puritanical followers into shock – Kardashian took to her Instagram story to showcase the miniature bust.
Kardashian said she intended the packaging to emulate a statue in a museum, but it’s hardly the first time she’s permitted the use of her body for the purposes of art or design.
The KKW Body bottle follows the replication of her nude body for Kanye West’s Famous video, and the infamous “Break The Internet” Paper Magazine cover.
Still, the fact the bottle is quite sincerely inspired by a mould of her body hasn’t stopped some commenters from drawing comparisons to several perfumes from Jean Paul Gaultier.

In case you’re wondering what the stuff actually smells like, Kardashian told her Twitter following that it has notes of bergamot, ylang ylang, vetiver, and sandalwood. Lovely.
