Rita Ora Confirmed As The 1st Big Act Performing At This Year’s ARIA Awards

The ARIA Awards tends to bring out some of the best performances that we get on Aussie tv over the year – who can forget The Veronicas in body paint and red glitter and how much of a bloody MOOD that was, or how we were simply blessed firstly by Taylor Swift in 2012 and then Harry Styles in 2017, or the  flooring performance from Yothu YindiJess MauboyDan SultanPeter Garrett and Paul Kelly in 2012?

Somehow, the awards tend to nab some kind of big name and we are all the more grateful for it.

This year, Rita Ora is the first international artist set to light up the big stage, so I’m sure it’s going to be a party and a half, really.

Especially after her incredible Post Malone getup for Halloween this year, you know she’s one to go all-out and lean in hard to be memorable.

She announced her big ARA Awards performance this morning, and let slip that her fave Aussie artist at the moment is 5 Seconds Of Summer. TBH ‘Youngblood‘ slaps so hard, can you blame her?

God, imagine if she got CardiCharli XCX and Bebe Rexha out and threw down a massive ‘Girls‘ performance? I’d would LIVE for that.

Rita Ora hasn’t given much of a hint of what we’re going to get at the ARIA Awards, but if you wanna get along to the public party, and get all fancied up, do a bit of a red carpet walk, and kick the summer party vibes into gear a bit early, then you can pick up your tickets over here.
