Yet again, the one and only Kelly Clarkson has delivered another fantastic cover proving there’s not one she cannot do. Currently on her Meaning of Life tour in the United States of A, Clarkson dazzled fans with a brilliant mashup of Cardi B‘s ‘Be Careful’, Post Malone‘s ‘Better Now’, and Lauryn Hill‘s ‘Ex-Factor’.
Throughout her tour, Clarkson has been dedicating a section of her show – Minute & A Glass of Wine – to covering artists who inspire her.
The performance was broadcast live on her Facebook page and was very much loved by all her fans.
“I couldn’t go everywhere so I thought it would be cool if we go live every show and I do a different song every show in this portion,” the artist explained. “We try to keep a part of the show fresh that is just for you all. Every show we do a different song and every show I’ve done I’ve literally picked a completely different genre but that’s because I just really love music.”
And we love Kelly.
“I’ve been looking really forward to this. I’m a big huge fan of all three artists we’re about to cover,” she told her New York audience. “I did this mashup because I find myself singing along to different songs to their songs,” she added.
Any cover, any, and Clarkson can do it. It’s ridiculous.
A wee little while ago, also on tour, Clarkson delighted fans with a cover of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s ‘Shallow’ from A Star is Born.
“I don’t have a Bradley Cooper here, so I’m just holding it down. I hope I don’t suck, and if I do, I hope she [Gaga] doesn’t see it!” Clarkson said to introduce her rendition.
