Yes, Daddy: Jeff Goldblum’s New Docuseries Will Premiere On Disney+

Curious Daddy Jeff Goldblum is heading to Disney+ in his new documentary series The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Earlier today, Disney unleashed a heap of details about their highly-anticipated streaming service. Eager punters copped a US premiere date and a string of titles including Jon Favreau‘s new Star Wars series The Mandalorian, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki show, and the Simpsons. 

The World According to Jeff Goldblum is a 12-part series produced by Jane Root‘s production company Nutopia for curiosity aficionados, National Geographic. Each 30-minute episode will take us on a journey around the world to “uncover the extraordinary stories behind the world’s most ‘ordinary’ things.”

By ‘ordinary’, they’re talking toilet paper, baseball, balloons, and ice-cream.

Last year, when the documentary was first announced, Goldblum told Deadline: “[The series] puts me in the driver’s seat, guiding viewers on a mind-blowing adventure where we break down the unexpectedly complex science behind seemingly basic things.”

Disney acquired Nat Geo during the ginormous Disney-Fox merger.

Disney+ will launch in America on November 12, 2019. The suits upstairs promise the service will extend to all their “major” regions over the next two years.

Original titles include WandaVisiona series about Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda Maximoff and The Vision‘s Paul Bettany. Their Avenger mates Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will team up in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk‘s will star in a new show based on Cassian Andor, and there’ll also be a new Disney original film titled Timmy Failure to name a few.
