We Now Know Exactly Why Jeff Goldblum Was Slinging Snags In Sydney

Australia bloody loves a lil slice of Jeff Goldblum, as it turns out.

Late last month the Hollywood legend made a curious and very surprising appearance on the streets of Sydney, spending an afternoon swanning about in a food truck magnificently named ‘Chef Goldblum’s‘ where he handed out free snags to hungry on-lookers and happily snapped the odd selfie here and there.
But *why* exactly he was doing that remained largely a mystery. Goldblum himself kept his cards remarkably to his chest when asked about it in an interview. So what on earth could he possibly have been doing out here?
Was he launching a global brand of food trucks? Did he chance encounter a burgeoning business with a pun name too good to resist and decide to give them a rub? Is Jeff Goldblum secretly super fired up on snags?
As it turns out, it was none of those things. Goldblum, would you believe, was jetted over to Australia by Menulog to shoot an ad campaign.
The food delivery app has launched the new series of ads featuring Jeff Goldblum over the weekend, with promo emails featuring his mug hitting inboxes all over the shop.
But it doesn’t end there, either. Goldblum features in a pair of filmed ads for Menulog that will be appearing across broadcast TV and digital services from this week onwards.
The first of which features Jeff marvelling at a young man’s short shorts…

…and the second of which is extremely horny.

My god *fans self*.
So there you have it, folks. Mystery solved.
Now exactly why sausages were selected for Goldblum’s (apparently temporary) food truck is another question entirely.
