You didn’t really think American Horror Story could tackle the end of the world at the hands of a demon child without its strongest and fiercest witches, did you? Absolutely not. Therefore Ryan Murphy has summoned the spellbinding sisters of Coven to join the fight against the earth’s demise.
The AHS overlord announced that your faves from season three are making a comeback including Taissa Farmiga (Zoe), Gabourey Sidibe (Queenie), Lily Rabe (Misty), Frances Conroy (Myrtle), and Stevie Nicks (herself, the white witch).
“Guess who’s coming back for AHS APOCALYPSE? Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and….Stevie Nicks. So thrilled the family is together again!” He wrote.

Joining the aforementioned magic mavens is Sarah Paulson who will play three roles including Coven‘s Cordelia and Murder House‘s Billie Dean Morgan, Jessica Lange who’ll play Murder House‘s Constance Langdon (and my fingers and toes are crossed that she’ll bring back Coven‘s Fiona Goode), and Emma Roberts as Coven’s Madison Montgomery.
Other confirmed cast members include Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd, Billy Porter, and Adina Porter.
The upcoming eighth season of the horror anthology series will be a crossover between seasons 1 (Murder House) and 3 (Coven) and ICYMI, the teaser trailer dropped yesterday, giving us a taste of both.
