Blessed American Horror Story showrunner Ryan Murphy has unleashed our first look at the extraordinary Jessica Lange in season eight Apocalypse.
As season eight is a crossover between Murder House (season one) and Coven (season three), Lange will be reprising her role as the Constance Langdon.
She probably won’t return as former Supreme witch Fiona Goode… since she’s in her own personal Hell somewhere with an axe murderer…
Cool, cool, anyway…
Sarah Paulson, woman of far too many talents, isn’t just triple timing it in season eight as Supreme witch Cordelia Foxx, psychic Billie Dean Howard, and new creepy character and lotto lady Ms. Wilhelmina Venable – she’s also directing the episode Lange appears in.
Murphy posted the photo to celebrate 300,000 followers on his Instagram: “Here’s a first look at the return of Queen Constance…the one and only Lady Lange…being directed by that dynamo of wit and talent Sarah Paulson. Love them both!”
Constance shall return to our screens to maybe or maybe not deal with demon spawn Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) among other unspeakable things.
Look at that iconic hair.
Speaking of Coven, Taissa Farmiga (Zoe), Gabourey Sidibe (Queenie), Lily Rabe (Misty), Frances Conroy (Myrtle), and Stevie Nicks (herself) are in season eight as are OG Mum and Dad Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott.
Then there’s also Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, and Billie Lourd.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse is airing on FX now… definitely don’t find illegal ways to stream the series…
In the meantime, here’s a look at some of the new characters of the Apocalypse.
This one.
And this one.
Perfection.
