Following the news that Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares have called it quits, folks have come out of the woodwork with stories about what the pair were like when they were together.
One such fan who was recently holidaying in Byron has written in to international goss site Deuxmoi with one helluva yarn.
In the blind item, the fan says Zac is “one of the nicest celebrities” she’s ever met.
“We were recently on holidays in Byron Bay, where he now lives, and met him and his girlfriend at a restaurant we were at for lunch,” she said.
“He was in a big group of people and we didn’t want to disturb him because we wanted to respect his privacy but as he was returning from the bathroom we quickly asked for a photo.”
She went on to gush about the then-committed star, writing that he “was so nice about it, starting a conversation with us and you could tell that his smile was genuine.”
“He isn’t one of those celebrities who are rude when you go up to them. Hands down best experience.”
This tasty tea comes after the daughter of a woman who works at a Dubbo motel wrote in with goss about Zac Efron and Vanessa staying at the motel over Easter.
This fan also said Zac was “the nicest celeb she’s ever met” and, you’ll bloody love this, he “smells nice nice.”
She went on to say that his girlfriend Vanessa, who he met during his stay at Byron Bay, was “also lovely and she did hers and Zac’s washing.”
And I’m not done! Another Byron Bay resident recently wrote in to gossip Instagram page Celeb Spellcheck (RIP) during a special segment where they asked fans to send in sweet DMs from local stars and, as I wrote earlier, Zac Efron definitely qualifies as an honorary Aussie.
The local yokel said that Zac “is so lovely” and always v. friendly to waiters, servers, etc which we absolutely bloody love to hear.
The anonymous Byron resident also described Zac as a “super chilled down to earth guy.”
