And now, we’ve got some piping hot tea about The Bachelor lead’s dating history. Because the Australian reality TV world is so fucking incestuous, we’ve just found out that The Bachelor 2021, Jimmy Nicholson, has dated The Bachelor 2020 finalist, Bella Varelis.
Goss site The Wash chatted to Bella and she revealed that she was set up with Jimmy via her mates but it ultimately didn’t work out.
Here’s her response that was shared in their yarn, which I can only assume was a text, email or DM from Bella, based on the way it’s structured:
“Hahaha yeah we were chatting and went on a couple dates towards the end of last year, we got set up by a friend. He’s a really lovely human, definitely deserves to find love!”
Bella also revealed that they’re still mates so there’s nothing “scandalous.” Great to know that he’s a top bloke though, aye?

The publication went on to add that Bella absolutely will not be taking part in this season of the show, so don’t go getting ideas. I have no idea how it all works, TBH. I’m not sure if they’re currently on the hunt for Bachelor hopefuls or if they’re already locked in and ready to go.
Also, shortly after their cute date, Bella reportedly met photographer Will Stokoe and they’re now together, so good on ’em. I’m glad that she ended up finding a BF after being dumped by Locky Gilbert in the season finale of The Bachelor last year. Mems.
