Macaulay Culkin has now shown his support for a movement on Twitter that wants Donald Trump digitally removed from Home Alone 2, and I am certainly here for it.
Shortly after the Pro-Trump Capitol insurrection last week, there has been a firestorm of tweets that very specifically want Trump removed from Home Alone 2. I think that’s a great idea, considering how weird his cameo in the film was.

Now, people are calling for a petition to be made, so that Home Alone 2 director Chris Columbus will see it and permanently remove Trump from the film.
Even star of Home Alone Macaulay Culkin (aka my celeb look-a-like) agrees, replying to two seperate tweets on the idea.
“Petition to digitally replace trump in ‘home alone 2’ with 40-year-old macaulay culkin,” one user tweeted.
“Sold,” Culkin replied.

In a seperate tweet, someone (really badly) digitally edited Trump out of Home Alone 2 and Culkin was indeed, very pleased.
“Due to popular request I have removed Trump from home alone,” @maxschramp wrote on Twitter.
“Bravo,” Culkin replied.

Trump’s cameo in the film is pretty random, and it’s one of the only things that people remember from it.
In my head it goes something like this: Macaulay Culkin is alone again, New York, Trump, film ends.
Well, it turns out that Trump actually “bullied” his way into the film. Last month, Columbus told Insider that when they approached the Plaza Hotel for filming (which Trump owned at the time) Trump said that the only way they could film there, is if he got to be in the movie.
“We agreed to put him in the movie, and when we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen,” Columbus said.
“So I said to my editor, ‘Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.’
“But he did bully his way into the movie.”
