What’s an interview that lives rent-free in your mind? I’ll go first. That time Kourtney Kardashian appeared on TODAY Extra for an extremely awkward interview, which was supposed to be about light topics like fitness and beauty regimens but ended up very much being about her sister Kim Kardashian’s infamous and terrifying robbery in Paris.
Kourtney pulled the move which generally is handled slightly more deftly by publicists, who maybe should have anticipated that this topic would, you know, come up.
“You should know that the people of Australia and of our show were very empathetic about what happened and very horrified,” host David Campbell said.
“We were wondering, how is everyone going and how is Kim doing?”
Kourtney Kardashian responded with a completely blank stare off-camera as a publicist burst in to shut that shit down. She pulled the classic move which I pull on a daily basis for any number of things: pretending she didn’t hear anything.
“What?” she kept repeating, looking offscreen, clearly being coached to shaddap.

“She’s not doing great,” Kourtney Kardashian says, after blaming it all on a bad connection.
“I think we’re all really still shaken up and I just — you know, I think she has a big supportive family and I know that, like, all of the traumatic things that we’ve been through, we get through them together as a family.”

Speaking of Kourtney Kardashian (or rather, Kim Kardashian), the Paris robbery and Australian interviews, SAS’s Mark “Billy” Billingham appeared on a segment of Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa where he shared alleged information about Kim Kardashian getting robbed in Paris back in 2016.
Given that he used to be a celebrity bodyguard before joining the series, one host asked if he had any intel about the infamous robbery involving Kim Kardashian.
“Did you see the Kim Kardashian robbery, could you see where that went wrong? I mean she had a bodyguard but they got right up in there?” the host asked.
“Yeah talk about inside job,” he responded.
“I don’t know the truth on it but you’ve gotta be careful you know. That’s the hardest part of being a bodyguard or having your own security is trust, it’s all about trust.
“They reckon it was an inside job, if I had to make a guess I would say it probably was. A tip off to somebody else, yeah we’re gonna be here at this time. You’ve gotta look at all options and suspect the people closest to you, especially when it’s very very personal you know.”
Yikes.
