
Kim Kardashian has issued an apology after being blasted for using the R-word on her Instagram Story.

In the video, Kim shows off one of her many Halloween costumes, one of them being Pamela Anderson.
“OK, guys, we are Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee,” she says in the video. “Nobody knows who we are here.”
In a separate clip, Kardashian told her former assistant Stephanie Shepherd, “Nobody knows who I am. Yeah! Retarded.”

Kim has since released a statement via Us Weekly apologising for the remark.
“I want to apologise for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told the publication.
“I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I’m sorry.”
