Keira Maguire Is Heaps Keen To Learn The Lindy Hop On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

One-time Bachelor hopeful Keira Maguire, broken-hearted sass queen, spilled to The Herald Sun over the weekend that she’d like to learn how to tango or foxtrot or whatever as part of Dancing with the Stars.

While she’s not convinced she should give Paradise a second shot, or take control of all the roses on The Bachelorette, Maguire says, “One thing I do know is that I do belong on TV.”

I need to step away from the dating games and I feel like I want to do something a little lighthearted and fun.

Dancing With The Stars is coming and that is something that would actually challenge me and besides, it is a great way to get super fit and I need a revenge body.

A stint on the popular celebrity ballroom dancing show next year – it was cancelled by Channel Seven in 2016, but picked up by Network Ten this year – would put the reality TV notches on Maguire’s bedpost at four, after The Bachelor in 2016, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2017, and Bachelor in Paradise earlier this year.

She also told the paper that she’s planning on staying in Melbourne – where she moved to be with her ex, Jarrod Woodgate – and has moved in with another Bachie gal, avid reader and napper, Laurina Fleure.

There she’s putting all her energy into her job as a social media influencer – despite Woodgate’s assertion Instagram is to blame for the end of their relationship – telling The Herald Sun she’s her own manager.

I have had managers in the past but no one is more passionate and believes in me more than I do.

In sales you need to believe in the product and you need to be passionate about it and I am passionate about myself.

I love negotiating deals, I love reaching out and collaborating with businesses.

I have never been so inspired by someone talking about themselves as a product/their personal brand. Believe in, and be passionate about, yourself, the way Maguire is passionate about Keira Maguire™.

Dancing with the Stars, hosted by Grant Denyer (winner of season four!) and Amanda Keller (did poorly in season five), is due to return in 2019.
