Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate fell victim to the Bachelor in Paradise curse a couple of weeks ago, with Keira announcing the couple’s breakup via a heartfelt Instagram post and making us all realise that love doesn’t exist in the process.

Since then, there’s been a few choice words publicly exchanged between the pair via interviews, with Jarrod saying that his ex’s obsession with the ‘gram was the nail in the coffin of their relationship and Keira firing back that she only ever saw Jarrod on weekends.
Eeek.
But it seems Keira, 31, is done with the drama and she’s flying a white flag to signal peace: on her favourite social media platform, of course (what would Jarrod say!).
She posted a pic of the former couple today admitting that comments have been made “in the heat of the moment” and that she just wants “both of us to be happy & move forward with our lives”.
Keira goes on to say that she loves Jarrod (sniff!) and that the chapter is now closed. Cop the whole thing right here:

Part of me hopes this neat little conclusion is for the purposes of Keira becoming the next Bachelorette, which has been hotly rumoured ever since the breakup and it seems she’s not opposed.
