Ariana Grande Breaks Her Social Media Silence After The Devo Breakup News

Ariana Grande has always been a woman of many words. A dangerous woman, if you will. If there’s something going down in her life, a topic near and dear to her heart or a hater coming for her on social media, you’ll bet your peachy bottom that she’ll have something to say about it on her social channels.

But less than 24 hours after the announcement that she and Pete Davidson had called off their engagement and are breaking up, the pint-sized pop star has ~finally~ returned to social media, only to post something v. unexpected and, frankly, anticlimactic.

Grande took to Twitter to share a photo of what looks like the script for her performance in A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway and wrote:

“Honoured to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favourite musical of all time  wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe.”

In the tweet thread, she said that she “wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

Well that was a let down, give us the tea, woman!

Meanwhile, Ari’s mates reportedly weren’t at all surprised that her whirlwind relationship came crashing down.

“It was way too much too soon,” the insider told People of the split. “It’s not shocking to anyone.”

Other sneaky sources told TMZ that the celebrity duo broke up over the weekend, admitting that neither party is ready for the relationship to escalate.

Given everything that Grande has been through over the past year what with the attack at her Manchester concert and the tragic passing of her ex Mac Miller, not to mention the ongoing public scrutiny that led Davidson to hide away from social media, it isn’t at all surprising that the budding couple need some time to themselves.

Sending peaceful, loving and healing vibes… oh, and a willingness to share the tea.
