Anna Faris has admitted her split from Chris Pratt has encouraged her to keep her personal life just a touch more private, despite building a bona fide following with her deeply personable podcast and subsequent book on the nitty-gritty reality of relationships.
Speaking on SiriusXM yesterday, Faris said that she genuinely maintains a warm friendship with Pratt after the dissolution of their eight-year-long marriage. The Unqualified host also reiterated “there’s a lot of love” and that both parties remained wildly dedicated to their son, Jack.
But the split did alter how much she shares with the world.
“I think that it’s a lesson learned in keeping relationships a little more private, potentially, even though I pride myself in being a pretty open person,” Faris said.
“But, I don’t know, it’s tough when you’re under the scrutiny.”
Her statement comes a day after the publication of an Entertainment Weekly interview with Pratt, in which the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star said “divorce sucks.”
Pratt also issued a similar take to Faris on their current relationship, saying “we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another.”
