Hopeless romantic and actual angel Kristen Bell has a few words of wisdom for those of us who are still devastated over the recent announcement that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are separating – so in other words, all of us.

The actress was recently approached by E! News for a comment on the breakup, which spawned a million ‘Love Is A Lie’ headlines, and she graciously obliged, trying to find the upside to the situation. She told them:

“I think there’s a little bit of lack of acknowledgment about really loving something that was. If there are two people that decide not to be together, it shouldn’t really be a heartbreak for everyone.”

She continued:

“You should say, ‘Oh, they tried. But that doesn’t discount the lovely years they had together.’ If I ever get divorced, I’m still going to be like, ‘Wow, I loved being married to that man.'”

Kristen Bell is married to actor Dax Shepherd, and stuck by him even after this, which means it must be true love.

Anna Faris opened up about the loneliness of fame on a recent episode of her podcast Anna Faris Is Unqualified, which was released just on July 31, shortly before she announced her split from Pratt.

Speaking with her guest, musician Josh Ostrander, the actress said:

“I play a character on MOM, I play a character in movies, but I also play a public character. There’s definitely a loneliness and, like, an internal element to being a performer. I feel like I have to laugh …”

She continued:

“I play a public character. I laugh loud sometimes – maybe too loud but it is a public character sometimes. Like, if I have a red carpet thing or whatever, which I’m never comfortable, but I’m always like, ‘I’m fine!’ And it never feels like me.”

Faris and Pratt announced their split late last Sunday, US time, saying that they will continue to be close friends and wish to keep their situation as private as possible for the sake of their son.
