Anna Faris has already moved on after breaking up with Chris Pratt in August last year (she’s currently dating cinematographer Michael Barrett), but all eyes have been on the extremely handsome and eligible Chris to see who he dates next. While rumours have been flying that the lucky lady is none other than Olivia Munn, she’s taken to Instagram to shoot those rumours down once and for all.
The actress/TV presenter clued us all in via her Insta story, where she shared a screenshot of a text she sent Anna.
I would never respond to random tabloid stories, but since we know each other I wanted to reach out to you personally to tell you the story about me and Chris dating has 0% truth. I’m sure you already know it’s not true, or maybe didn’t care either way, but I just wanted to reach out personally to say it’s not true.
The screenshot (as published by Just Jared) included Anna’s reply, which is actually really cute and supportive.
Oh my god-this town is so fucking crazy-you are so sweet to text-I love you-having said that if you were my new sister in law I would be thrilled.
Clearly Anna doesn’t know how these ‘in-law’ things work, but it’s still a really bloody nice message.
In her Insta story, Olivia added some more captions in which she pointed out:
- Not every woman is scorned and upset after a breakup.
- Not every woman is “furious” at another woman for dating her ex.
- So even if I was dating [Chris] some tabloids got me and [Anna] all wrong.
- Women respect and love each other a lot more than some people like to think.
- Chris and I would have a horrible celebrity name: Crolivia, Prunn, Chrisivia, Olipratt
While she didn’t necessarily need to share the texts, it’s pretty awesome that she used the conversation as a platform to talk about the power of female friendship.
Also, another takeaway is that CHRIS PRATT IS STILL SINGLE, so if you don’t mind I’m off to Hollywood to try my luck.
