But now the former couple have officially filed for divorce, and it’s like the hurt is all there and fresh again, you know?
PEOPLE reports that he filed the legal documents on Friday citing irreconcilable differences, asking for joint custody of his and Anna’s son, Jack, 5.
TMZ reports that Anna filed her documents at the exact same time, also asking for joint custody, as well as child support.
Their date of separation is listed as 13 July, a full month before they publicly announced their split with joint statements.
“We tried very hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” they said at the time, adding that “we still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
