Caitlyn Jenner’s Malibu house has survived the devastating wildfire tearing through California, after initial fears it was one of hundreds of homes lost in the deadly blaze.

Taking to Instagram, Jenner and her partner Sophia Hutchins shared a video update from the residence. Despite being surrounded by blackened terrain, the home appears to have escaped the worst of the Woolsey Fire.
“It was devastating out here in Malibu,” Jenner said.
“You can see the hills are just totally scorched.”
Earlier, Jenner posted a video update telling followers she and Hutchins were safe, but unsure if the pad made it through the fire unscathed.
That initial message was followed by a video from Hutchins, who said “We don’t know how badly the house burned, it’s not looking good.”
At least two people have died as a result of the fire, and at least three firefighters have been injured battling the blaze.
Some 265,000 residents were ordered to evacuate the region, which covers large swathes of Ventura County and Los Angeles County.
Jenner’s daughters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, along with Alyssa Milano and Lady Gaga, are among those forced to leave their homes in the region.
As it stands, an estimated 177 buildings have been destroyed by the fire.
Among those is the home of actor Gerard Butler, who also took to Instagram to share the scene from his burnt-out home.
Despite Jenner’s visit to the property, mandatory evacuation orders remain in place for much of the region.
