Gerard Butler has taken to Twitter to reveal that his home was among the thousands affected by the devastating California wildfires.
The actor shared a photo of his burned Malibu house, writing:

Three fires, two in the south and one in the north, have forced over a quarter of a million people who were in harm’s way to evacuate from their homes.
Firefighters in the northern part of California are battling a blaze which has burned through 109,000 acres and was only 25 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.
In a recent press release, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the number of fatalities reported had grown from 9 to 23 with over half of the victims were found in the city of Paradise.
The Woosley Fire, which is affecting residents in Ventura and Los Angeles, has burned through 83,275 acres and was only 10 percent contained.
The Hill Fire has covered 4,531 acres and is 70 percent contained.
