January Jones Was Brutally Snubbed By Lisa Vanderpump’s Pump Restaurant

Like any reasonable person, January Jones is a fan of Vanderpump Rules, but when she tried to get a reservation at one of Lisa Vanderpump‘s posh LA eateries for her birthday, she was brutally rebuffed and treated like common folk, and she was not happy about it.

“I had my 40th birthday this year and I called Pump to try to do my party there,” the Last Man On Earth star told Yahoo Lifestyle in a recent interview. “No one called me back.” Now, as you can imagine, the former Betty Draper doesn’t give in so easily.

The situation escalated from there, and she went on to explain:

“My publicist called. My best friend called. We called and called and called and called. It was over the holidays, but still. No one responded … One time I called, I got a girl and she’s like: ‘We’ll call you back.’ Nothing. I called back again, no response.”

Jones even resorted to texting her good mate, Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen, to try and get some answers from him, but even after snagging the general manager’s number from Andy, she still could not get a call returned.

Shortly before her birthday, January Jones decided to pull the ultimate power move, storming into Pump herself to let them know they’d screwed up big time. She said:

“Around New Year’s, I was going out to dinner and I said: ‘You know what, I’m going into Pump.’ I walked in there and I was like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I was like: ‘Tried to call ya. Guess what: I’m not having my birthday party here. Big mistake. Big. Huge.’”

There’s being petty and then there’s being petty, and honestly, January Jones just became my petty godmother. This woman really does not fuck around.

The staff at Pump naturally began grovelling to Jones to make it up to her, but she told the they were “too late” and she’d chosen a different venue.

It seems she’ll still get her wish though, as she told Yahoo that she’s managed wrangle a “half-birthday party” (sure, that’s a thing) at Pump restaurant for free this coming July.

If this story is to be believed, then I’m thrilled for my girl January, and if this is some kind of elaborate way of getting herself onto a Bravo reality show, then I’m also thrilled.

All that remains to be seen is whether Lisa Vanderpump herself shows up to the half-birthday party (again, totally a legit thing that normal people celebrate).
