Remember that scene in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days where Andie Anderson arrives at the OTT ‘Frost Yourself’ event? Yep, well, right before she sings that cringe rendition of ‘You’re So Vain’, she ‘s given a bloody massive yellow rock to wear around her neck – do you remember the one?

Who am I kidding, of course you remember the canary yellow outfit – it’s bloody iconic. But, just to refresh your memory, here is it:

Ugh, after all this time, I still love it.

And it seems we’re not alone with Lady Gaga arriving at the 2019 Oscars red carpet repping a near-identical necklace:

“Like never before. @ladygaga takes the 2019 #Oscars red carpet wearing the priceless Tiffany Diamond—one of the largest and finest Fancy Yellow diamonds in the world,” writes the Tiffany & Co. Instagram account.

According to a press release, the one-of-a-kind necklace was last worn by none other than Audrey Hepburn for a Breakfast At Tiffany’s publicity photoshoot and bears a remarkable resemblance to the Kate Hudson piece.

The giant rock weighs a whopping 128.54 carats and features over 82 facets – OOOOOOFT.

As for the price, well that’s a whole other matter. The massive statement stone sold for $5 million USD back in 1972, which translates to approximately $36,136,770 million in today’s AUD… and that’s before we even get to the diamonds on the chain.

Here it is again:

While we’re keen to find out the dollar amount of the corker, Tiffany & Co. maintains that the necklace is actually priceless:

“Worn by @ladygaga to tonight’s #Oscars, it is suspended from a platinum necklace of alternating cushion-cut and round brilliant diamonds. Appearing as if it is lit by an inner flame, the legendary cushion-cut yellow diamond has a unique 82 facets—24 more facets than the traditional 58-facet brilliant cut. The Tiffany Diamond, is quite literally, priceless.”

Yep, I’ll definitely have it, thanks.
