Bradley Cooper Wants To Do A Live Reading Of ‘A Star Is Born’ W/ Lady Gaga

Bradley Cooper, bless him, has shared his idea for a special one-night A Star is Born reunion special with Lady Gaga because fans did not sweat enough during their Academy Awards performance from earlier this year.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen asked Cooper if he would ever consider going on tour with Gaga. The film, which was nominated for eight Oscars, took home the gong for Best Original Song (‘Shallow’) – Gaga’s first ever Academy Award.

“I mean no,” Cooper answered. “But you know what I thought would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, is do like a live reading of the movie, of the script, and sing all the songs as you’re reading the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something… That would be cool, right?”

RIGHT.

Just imagine how fans would react to a whole live reading of the script, especially after that Oscars performance.

Speaking of it, Cooper described the performance as “terrifying.”

“It was crazy. I actually wasn’t nervous because I worked so hard and Lady Gaga’s so supportive. But it was terrifying, absolutely, because I’m not a singer and I didn’t sing before this movie so it was really crazy.”

He continued, “But it just shows that if you do work really hard and you’re with supportive people that you can do things that you never dreamed was possible. Because I do think with the Oscar thing, people will never watch the movie again if this is bad. Like, ‘they can’t do it’.

“It was one of those things where this has to be great. It felt great.”

I mean, since we’re all here.
