Okay, so from “photographed moving out of a shared dwelling” to “photographed making out on a secluded island“, where does “photographed together on a jet ski” fall on the master scale of Celebrity Break-Up Status?
‘Cos current queen of rap Cardi B has just been snapped hanging out on a fucken jet ski in Puerto Rico with none other than estranged husband Offset – more than two weeks after she posted the nonchalant (and nude) Instagram video announcing that the pair were splitting up.
We know that Cardi was in Puerto Rico for a set in San Juan at the Electric Holiday festival, but it’s probably safe to say that Offset was tagging along as part of his extended campaign to win his wife back.
Other campaign events have been tweeting some stupid shit, posting an Instagram video begging her to come back, and gatecrashing her set in Los Angeles with shitloads of roses spelling out “TAKE ME BACK CARDI“.
The split came after ongoing rumours that the guy had been unfaithful, which he sort of addressed in that Insta vid, saying “I didn’t fuck that girl, but I was entertaining“, which, wow… romantic.
Cardi sure looked pretty pissed off at the whole roses debacle, but the photos up on TMZ show her and Offset looking very happy together, and she certainly has been coming to his defence against Cardi fans who’d much prefer their queen go her own way without the dead weight of an unfaithful schmuck holding her back.
Unfortunately, apparently eyewitnesses also told TMZ that “they seemed very much like a couple.”
I guess it remains to be seen whether the jet ski is an omen of reconciliation or a harbinger of doom. That’s a lot of pressure to put on one recreational watercraft, but hey, I don’t make the rules.
