Cardi B References Pete Davidson In Message To Fans Still “Bashing” Offset

Being one of the most famous musicians alive enabled rapper Offset to crash the performance of his ex-wife Cardi B in an attempt to reconcile their differences, but that fame also opened the Migos star up to a whole heap of hate online.

Now, Cardi B has spoken on the impromptu meeting, telling her angrier fans to keep that fury to themselves.

Taking to Instagram after the incident – in which Offset sidetracked her headlining Rolling Loud set to offer up some roses – Cardi B said people should take a minute to consider Pete Davidson‘s recent statements, and the impact their words might have on another living, breathing human.

“I’m not saying I’m going to get back together with him, I just don’t like that bashing online thing,” Cardi said.

“Just earlier, you saw how Pete Davidson was talking about how he don’t even want to be on this Earth because mad people becoming at him every single day.

“I wouldn’t want my baby father to have that feeling because of millions of people be bashing him every day.”

The Invasion Of Privacy gun went on to say that nobody but Offset could ever have the same feelings for their daughter, Kulture.

She also uploaded a short video featuring a bouquet of roses to her Instagram Story, suggesting she may have kept the flowers offered up during the performance.

As for Offset, the fella has made his own statement on social media. Taking to Twitter, he apologised for the interruption, saying he was just taking (an ill-advised) crack at restoring their relationship.

Elsewhere, Davidson – the Saturday Night Live star who faced a tidal wave of antipathy from Ariana Grande fans after their short-lived relationship – was recently declared safe and accounted for by the New York City Police Department after posting a concerning message regarding his mental health.

Bullying. Not good. Who’d have thought?
