There’s A Pot That Tells You How Healthy Your Plant Is, So You Can Stop Buying Monsteras

Are you the opposite of a plant mum? Do your plants often die on you because you constantly forget to water them and change their soil? (Speaking of, I should probably go water mine). Anyway, a plant pot now exists that actually tells you if your plants are getting enough light and water.

It’s a plant pot with feelings called Lua. Yeah it literally has a face on it that shows you six essential animations that indicate how your plant is feeling.

It’s basically an iDog, but less shit.

Curse those iDogs, I swear to god. Mine would go off in the middle of the night and I ended up throwing it out the window.

But I digress, this is nothing like that (well, hopefully not). Lua detects movement and if nothing is in front of it, it will go back to sleep.

The six animations will show you when your plant is thirsty, over-watered, needs light, or had too much light and when it’s too cold or too hot.

There’s also a few random animations like sticking its tongue out and being grumpy when there’s a good chance of rain.

Lua’s health and overall well-being can also be read through an easy to use app.

So now you can FINALLY stop killing your green friends. But in the mean time Bunnings Warehouse will actually let you return your dead plants if you accidentally kill them in the first 12 months. Hell fucking yes.

Or you can always get a monstera, which will literally never die. Although mine was pretty close, but let’s not get into that.

If you’re looking to purchase one of these little guys, at the moment it’s only available through Indiegogo here.

This pot truly is a game-changer and now I can finally be a plant mum (because let’s face it plants are the new version of having kids in your 20s).
