Hell yes. With Topshop‘s bricks and mortar stores soon to open in Sydney and Melbourne, Australian shoppers are getting even more good news.
ASOS will open a dedicated Australian site in September. Despite sites in the US, Germany and France, co-founder Nick Robertson told The Australian that Australia is ASOS’ second largest market outside Britain, which is perhaps due to the rising Australian dollar and the bargains it can secure overseas. Hopefully shopping without the exchange rate won’t affect us too much. Still, what’s a few dollars when the delivery is so much quicker? Fingers crossed it’s still free.
UPDATE: We’ve been informed that shipping will definitely remain free when the Australian site launches.
We’re already clutching our wallets in anticipation. Talk about consumer confidence.
