Sass & Bide make us proud in London

How Australian that Aussie fashion sweethearts Sass & Bide held their London Fashion Week show in a derelict old dairy.

Clapped along by the likes of Kimberly Stewart, Paloma Faith, Allison Mosshart of †The Kills’ and fashion royalty Twiggy, the duo celebrated their tenth anniversary amongst tribal music and animal noises with a collection bursting with trusty S&B classics- billowy tops, oversized singlet’s, fringes and of course, leggings galore.

Crowd favourites were the †Afterworld Tights’ which were dripping in gold, brass and metallic embellishments with other pieces such as the trousers and jackets printed with black and white motifs, intricately beaded long and short dresses, playsuits and sequined harem pants also wetting the palette.

Sarah Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton’s program notes said they found inspiration in Argentinean gauchos- but they could say they were inspired by the ice addicts in Kings Cross and we’d still adore their stuff.
