I don’t know what it is about public transport that makes crazy shit happen on it more frequently than it does elsewhere, is it something to do with having a large cross-section of society jammed into a very confined space? Who knows. What we do know is that buses and trains always seem to be where the shit goes down – or, at least, where videos of the shit going down come from.
Today’s piece of train-based cinema vérité comes from northern Adelaide, after a terrified punter managed to get footage of two dudes straight-up beating the shit out of each other.
The fight apparently started at Salisbury, finishing at Parafield Station when one of the dudes quickly jumped off the train. Shout out to the dude in the video who intervenes: you’re a braver man than I.
The fight allegedly broke out after one of the men involved took offence at a racial slur used by the other.
Adelaide Metro and the police will be looking into the incident, which you can view below:
