Getting run over by a pack of professional cyclists after absent-mindedly wandering into a major bike race is surely one of the more embarrassing events you could ever endure, but losing your dacks and having your whole ass exposed to the world in the process? You’d have to sell up and leave town. There’d be no coming back from that.
And yet that is the cruel fate that has befallen one absurdly unlucky chap in Italy, who unwittingly wandered into the path of the Tirreno-Adriatico bike race overnight.

The annual Italian road race had a hellacious first stage yesterday owing largely to wet roads but also to errant foot traffic.
The team time trial stage copped more than its fair share of whacks, with the Bora-Hansgrohe team dropping two members after the frankly horrifying run-in with a random punter just 3.5km’s into their race.

Good lord that’s a big hit. And to have the bloke’s ass yanked from his jeans so wantonly as well. You hate to see it, folks.
Fortunately enough, both riders were able to finish the race, while the pedestrian was taken to hospital in a reportedly not serious condition despite getting absolutely pasted.
Oddly enough, it wasn’t the only run-in with civilians that stage. Later on a lady walking a small dog came ball-achingly close to being utterly obliterated by an entire team rounding a corner.
