Taylor Swift has once again proved her swiftness, and announced the release of her surprise album evermore, just five months after she released sister-album folklore. Swifties have gone absolutely bonkers on social media, and rightly so, it’s BIG, BIG news.
Of course, many can’t help but point out the close proximity of the two albums, and used the Olsen twins as an example. Yikes.

Me: *sees that not a lot going on at the moment post* it’s probably a music video for exile or something not an album cause she’s busy re-recording her masters @taylorswift13 : #Evermore pic.twitter.com/z7RuXS7nyD

It’s the 2020 bandaid solution we all needed. Then once the hype has died down, it’s back to being a sad-queen again. Welp.

Peak hot-girl energy is choosing to stay at home and listen to evermore, instead of going out. That’s fact.

I love how dedicated Taylor Swift stans are. They’re like those people who bring lightsabers to the Star Wars midnight screenings. I admire your dedication, sir.

I’m so glad taylor is having fun making music at the expense of our sanity and mental health. pic.twitter.com/k6BeNSmycB

Not a meme, but they do make a good point.

Not only have fans been busy making memes, but they have also spotted a bunch of Easter eggs in her new music video willow, which dropped a few hour ago.
One of the cheeky eggs in question is the suggestion that Swift got married to long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
T-Swizzle (I don’t think anyone has used that nickname since 2009) dropped the announcement for her new album this morning.
“To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs,” Taylor said in the announcement.
“To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folkorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or travel further into the forest of this music.
“I love the escapism of creating these imaginary / not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies of epic love lost and found.”
Willow is a love story between Swift and Taeok Lee, a Korean dancer who performed on her Red Tour. The same cabin and magical piano from cardigan also appear in the music video.
