A Very Happy New Year To This 20-Something NSW Woman Who Won The Fkn $9.8 Million Powerball

For most (especially in NSW and VIC) New Year’s Eve was fairly dismal, given the year we’ve all had. However, one 20-something in NSW had the ultimate king-shit NYE and won an eyeball-popping $9.8 million in the Powerball. Fuck.

The woman from Wagga Wagga won the entire Powerball division one jackpot, according to 7 News. But she only thought to check the lucky ticket the night after a fat sesh, and what a thing to wake up to?

Meanwhile, I woke up this morning to find that I had lost my purse and my socks for some reason.

“I was with some friends after midnight and I was just trying to find something in my bag,” she said.

“I saw my ticket and thought maybe the results were out.

“I checked the ticket on the app but initially didn’t know how much I’d won.

“I had to get my friend to check.”

Well, well, well, some people have all the luck don’t they? Did I mention I lost my purse last night? Well let me say it again, I lost my purse.

It was only the third time she’d bought a Powerball ticket, and you know what they say? Third time’s a charm.

So what’s the lucky queen going to do with her new found riches? Well, she’s going to… *checks notes* spend it wisely. Yeah, how boring right? I’ve got plenty of ideas she could do instead: buy a boat, throw a massive party, buy a house in an exxy suburb…

Heck, it’s enough to buy the $9 million property that Hamish Blake and Zoë Foster Blake just moved into in Sydney.

“I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do with my prize,” she said.

“I’m going to sit down and make a plan.

“All I know is my life is really going to change.

“It’s a great way to start 2021.”

Actually, I know what I’d do with the money. I’d use it to buy a new purse…I kid, I kid. Well, not really.
