WATCH: The New ‘DuckTales’ Series Has A Rebooted Theme Tune & It’s Pure 90s

Y’know what they say, folks. Life really is like a hurricane here in Duckburg.
Reboots are generally to be treated with a grain of salt, but if there was ever one to get breathlessly excited about it’s the upcoming ‘DuckTales‘ re-hash, which is coming at us faster than a Beagle Boys getaway car.
The new series, which is set to hit the air via House of Mouse subsidiary Disney XD in September, already sports a hellishly stacked voice cast that features the likes of David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Kate Micucci, Paul F. Tompkins, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jim Rash, Allison Janney, and Tony Anselmo as the iconic Donald Duck.
That’s enough right there to get well and truly fired up to dive into a giant silo of coins.
But now we’ve got ourselves a tasty look at the new opening titles, along with a revamped version of the iconic theme tune, and now it might be time to put your anticipation levels into overdrive.
The tune is a faithful re-recording of the original, done by Felicia Barton who, among other things, has songwriting credits on Lea Michele and Demi Lovato tunes.
The animation is slick. The song is a banger. This is gonna be quack-bloody-tastic.

HELL YES.
The new ‘DuckTales‘ season begins with a one-hour pilot that will first air on August 12th, which will be repeated on a loop for 24 hours.
The series proper is subsequently scheduled to premiere on September 23rd.
