WATCH: Disney Reveals The ‘DuckTales’ Reboot Cast And JFC, It’s Stacked

Let us be very clear from the outset: Disney’s DuckTales reboot does not warrant a cast this good.  A cohort of professional voice actors would have done the trick. Hell, maybe one well-known comic to jazz it up.

Instead of playing it safe, they’ve revealed David fucking Tennant will be voicing Scrooge McDuck. David Tennant. Dr Who. Broadchurch. Jessica Jones. Ducktales.

Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan will be voicing Huey, Dewey and Louie respectively for the revamped cartoon. There’s more Saturday Night Live action in there too, with Beck Bennett making an appearance.

Rounding out the too-talented squad is Kate Micucci and Toks Olagundoye. We reiterate, this is all for Ducktales, which isn’t even approaching Mickey-levels of notoriety.

In any case, watch the cast belt out the theme song, and reconcile yourself to the fact you now have to check out at least one episode when it releases next year:
