WATCH: Grandpa Joe Doubles Down On Those ‘Biden 2020’ US Prez Comments

To borrow cadence from the current US President-elect: Joe Biden is absolutely not going to run for President. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it.
It is not going to happen. Not even a little bit. There is not a chance in hell the 78-year-old Biden will contest the 2020 Democratic nomination, win it, contest the US election, win it, and then serve at least one term as US President, making him 82 at the bare minimum by the time he leaves office.
Nope. Nuh uh. Not gonna happen.
But sweet damn it’s nice to dream, if for no reason other than picturing a future where Biden and Barack Obama‘s adorable friendship fills the public sphere for a few more years.
Biden, for his part, is certainly enjoying the shit out of remaining entirely non-committal on the subject, with that whole “who knows what will happen?” line getting him a hell of a lot of mileage.
Yesterday we saw Biden tease the ever-loving fook out of reporters/everyone during a visit to the US Senate, stating, and we quote:

“I’m not committing to not to run. I’m not committed to anything. I learned a long time ago, fate has a strange way of intervening.”

Which is the political equivalent of saying “snack?” to a patient dog just to see its ears pull back.

Biden’s “One More For The Road” tour rolled into the Ed Sullivan Theatre earlier today for an appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’
And Colbert, being the nosey sonofagun that he is, couldn’t resist a little prodding about those comments.
Because come on, he’s not actually gonna run for Prez in 2020, right?
Right?
Right?

DAMN IT, JOE. SHOW YOUR WORK.
Ahh well. We’ll always have memes. Our precious, precious memes.
