Sydney Stoners, Get On This Behemoth Chicken Waffle Icecream Deity For 420

HAPPY FREAKING 4/20, EVERYONE.
The most blessed of High Holidays is upon us once again, with all manner of jokers, smokers, and midnight tokers partaking in various feats of hempish glee in celebration.
And whilst whilst having a chill day featuring a few cold beers, a few cones, and a few laps around Rainbow Road on Mario Kart is generally on the cards for weed-enthusiasts nationwide, one particular restaurant in Sydney is marking the day by whipping up a beastly-looking concoction that’s sure to set the ole’ heart a flutter both figuratively and literally.
Fried chicken emporium Butter in Surry Hills has put out this limited-time-only behemoth known as “Love Won’t Get You High Like This.”
The dish comes in at a cracking 20cm tall and boasts a Belgian Waffle Fried Chicken Deluxe sandwich, which sports fries and maple mayo, topped off with peanut butter soft serve, chop chips, Hershey’s sauce and rainbow sprinkles.
Gaze upon it, in all its majesty!

It is a marvel! A modern wonder! A blessed tribute fit for a King! A very, very high King, sure. But a King nonetheless!
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, the restaurant stated that the dish is the diabolical creation of their chef, 2015 Josephine Pignolet Young Chef of the Year award winner Julian Cincotta, and will be part of an on-going series of specially created limited-run dishes that will be released in conjunction with different days or artist collaborations.
We like the idea of making different dishes for different days and keeping things interesting, making them as wild as possible so we can stand out.”

The relatively new Butter has already released special dishes to mark visits by Wu-Tang Clan, as well as Large Professor & Lord Finesse (who copped their own signature burger, soft serve, and slushie).

The dish has been flying out the door all morning from the moment doors opened, but there is good news for people who foolishly didn’t take today off to celebrate: The dish will be available from now until Saturday.
Dig in!
