Pregnant Snake Nests Under Adelaide Fridge And There’s Video Oh God Why

No. No no no no no no no no.

Absolutely not, no.
No thank you.
Nope.
No please.
No.
As if the ferocious inferno that is outside isn’t enough to put you off the thought of the Australian summer, along comes some legit bullshit like this to deter you from ever going inside again as well.
An Adelaide woman, going about her every day normal business, discovered that the tiny gap underneath her fridge is apparently a bang-up spot for a fkn SNAKE to take up residence, after the slithering little idiot popped its head out from underneath while they were rummaging around in there for some nosh.
As it turns out, “beneath the fridge” is an ideal spot for snakes to take up shop in the summer, given the dark, confined space, the relative humidity, and the warmth being generated by the fridge’s compressor.
The Moana woman called in snake catchers to get rid of the unwelcome guest – a very deadly Eastern Brown Snake – which they did whilst kindly capturing the whole goddamned thing on camera for all y’all to marvel at/vom over.

Oh yeah! And the catchers kept it in captivity for a little while afterwards, and is it turns out THE BLOODY THING WAS PREGNANT AND LAID EGGS A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER.
Fucking imagine it.
Just casually going to your kitchen.
You’re keen for a little snack action.
You open the fridge door.
And a literal horde of snakes flies out from underneath.

We repeat: NO PLEASE.
