Some pretty grim news this morning: a dead body has been found floating near the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Sydney’s The Rocks.
Police received a 000 call just before 7am this morning, from a person aboard a moored cruise ship who spotted the deceased in the water near Campbell’s Cove Jetty, on the western side of Circular Quay near the Harbour Bridge.
The section was immediately sealed off, and police could be seen retrieving the body (believed to be a man’s) from the water.

A NSW Police spokesman said police were investigating the discovery and had no other information at the moment.
