Fiji is, undoubtedly, one of the most idyllic places on the planet. It’s colourful as all hell, booze is aplenty, and the people are really bloody nice. When I went there literally all I did was sit near a body of fkn clear water and drink delicious things out of coconut shells.
It has now become way bloody easier to get there, too, ‘cos Virgin Australia are offering some ridiculously cheap flights to the island of your dreamz. The airline can get you there one-way from Sydney for $199, which is nearly half-off the usual $350 price.
From Melbourne the flight is a tad more expenno, standing at $299, and Brisbane has a $209 deal, which is still pretty decent.
The fare also includes 23kg baggage, which means you could go totally bananas on swimwear, large hats and solid reading material, because you will be so blissed out that’s literally all you will need.
The offer stands for a pretty flexi time period too. You can get the most out of this sweet deal in 2017 between January 31st – April 5th, April 30th – June 15 and July 23rd – September 14. The sale ends at midnight on December 19th.
With a window that big, you’ve got ample time to escape any of the unpredictable Aussie seasons. Give in, m8s, and head somewhere where it’s reliably warm all year round. Go troppo.
