According to the ABC, residents on the Sunshine Coast said that a storm that resembled ‘a tornado’ swept through early last night, and ripped the roof off several homes in Mooloolaba.
“At this stage we haven’t rescued anybody out of those vehicles however we still have vehicles in water and it would appear no-one is heeding the message ‘if it is flooded forget it’.”
