A Third Woman Has Accused ‘Gossip Girl’ Star Ed Westwick Of Sexual Assault

Ed Westwick Third Woman

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has been accused of sexual assault by a third woman, who has spoken out just a week after two separate rape accusations were levelled at the actor by Kristina Cohen and Aurelié Wynn.

Rachel Eck told Buzzfeed that in 2014, she went to a villa at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood to hang with Aussie film producer Kaine Harling (her boyfriend at the time), and Westwick, now 30.

She says Westwick “asked me to invite a friend to hang out with the three of us”. But because it was 2.30am, none of her friends were awake. Eck adds: “When I didn’t bring a girl for him he turned his sights on me.”

Eck, who was a 23-year-old executive assistant at the time, claims the star repeatedly tried to kiss her throughout a seven-hour period and that she had to push him off her as he got “more handsy”.

She tells Buzzfeed that Harling convinced her to stay even after she told him of Westwick’s advances. Becoming more uncomfortable as the night wore on, she says she told Harling she was “definitely leaving” and when she said goodbye to Westwick, “Ed… pulled me onto the bed and aggressively groped [my breasts]. I shoved him off as quickly as I could and left.”

Eck’s claim comes after Cohen and Wynn accused the actor of raping them in the same year, 2014.

While Westwick has not commented on the latest allegation, last week he took to Twitter to deny Cohen and Wynn’s claims, calling them “unverified and provably untrue”.

The LAPD is currently conducting a formal investigation of the Cohen incident, while at time of writing Wynn and Eck have not pursued legal action.
