Ed Westwick Denies Second Rape Allegation After Aurélie Wynn Speaks Out

Ed Westwick Rape

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has taken to Twitter to deny a rape accusation levelled at him by former actress Aurelie Wynn, who posted a statement on Facebook accusing the actor of raping her in 2014.

The allegation came after actress Kristina Cohen came forward earlier this week claiming Westwick raped her the same year.

Earlier today, Westwick posted a statement on social media, calling the two accusations “unverified and provably untrue”, saying that he has “absolutely not…had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct.”

The 30-year-old goes on to say he is “cooperating with the authorities”, indicating that he hopes to be exonerated after their investigation.

While the LAPD are investigating Cohen’s original claim, they confirmed to E! that no other charges have been filed, indicating that Wynn is not currently taking legal action against Westwick.

She said the actor raped her after a party at his LA apartment in July 2014, explaining that she didn’t come forward earlier because she was told not to be “that girl”. Wynn says she felt empowered to speak up after Cohen shared her story.
